About Us
BC Hoops is a fully insured and licensed comprehensive basketball company serving New York, New Jersey and its surrounding communities. We partner with numerous NBA/WNBA teams and players to offer basketball camps, clinics, birthday parties, private lessons, and much more. Craig Alfano, President and Co-Founder of BC Hoops has been directing basketball camps and clinics for the past 13 years, and has trained players from four-year old basketball beginners to high school, college, and professional players. Mr. Alfano played basketball at Mahwah High School in New Jersey. He then attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where he graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2000. He received his Masters Degree from Columbia University in New York City in 2002. Coach Alfano is a Licensed Social Worker as well as a Certified Elementary School Teacher. He currently coaches High School and AAU basketball in New Jersey, where he resides with his wife and two sons. BC Hoops employs a professional staff of highly experienced high school and college coaches as well as current and former NCAA Division I and professional players.
